Outdoors in the Wild Therapy Sessions

Wild, nature based, outdoor therapy sessions just may be what you are seeking.

  • Is nature and the outdoors already a place of joy, solace, reflection, peace, freedom?
  • Have you tried traditional therapy in offices and your body is just saying “no” to more of that?
  • Are you are at a point of transition in life or feel stuck in your self expression / healing journey?
  • Does the outdoors feel like a place where you belong?
  • Are some of my favourite memories outdoors / with nature?
  • Is your garden your safe place? Recharge you?

Outdoor, wild places invite the body to move as it desires or settle into places of rest or stillness. Nature in all its colour and diversity lends its contagious tranquility and unhurried rhythms, inviting us to explore and embrace its essence and yield to its powerful inspiration as a faithful companion for co-creating our own healing.

Use all your senses outdoor art making:

  • feel the support of the ground beneath you as you sit tracing the shadows of a dandelion onto paper
  • experience gentle sunshine on your shoulder as you pinch clay into a holding vessel
  • rest your hand on a tree and imagine its heartbeat while creating a rubbing of its bark
  • make a seashell mandala, toes tingling from the ocean
  • twist grasses together noticing the smells, rhythm and texture of free weaving
  • translate bird song into micro poetry

All wild nature based, outdoor therapy sessions use semi-private nature spaces, are client centred and are led by you. Your pace. Your space.

We respectfully acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work. Every day we experience the energy, beauty and tragedy of these lands. As we wonder and wander on the earthy places, the seas and the sky places we acknowledge all their inhabitants and ways of being. We pay our deepest respect to elders past, present and emerging. Kaleidoscope Expressive Arts exists and thrives on Turrbal, Jagera, Nigy Ningy,  Kabi Kabi and Jinibara Country and we acknowledge that Sovereignty was never ceded.
