Arts Therapy

Individual Sessions

Individual art therapy session consists of one client and one expressive arts therapist in a safe, comfortable setting. My cosy studio is based in Lawnton on Brisbane’s northside, or we can meet outdoors in a quiet area of a public park, beach or outdoor space. Walking is an optional part of an outdoor session.

Group Sessions

Group sessions consist of one arts therapist and up to 4 individuals (in person) or up to 8 online. Sessions are usually focussed, for example depression, anxiety, grieving and loss, life transitions and are closed for the agreed number of sessions. I provide an intimate, gently held, safe space for individuals seeking a healing journey through self expression and connected, life affirming peer presence. Groups tend to meet together for 8-10 weeks over Telehealth or in person with an optional closed Facebook group to meander through together developing a sense of connected presence and sojourning (hosted by me).

Please note: group sessions may not be suitable for acute crisis, please inquire.
